"When I first got to Maryland I knew I wanted to join an organization that makes this large school appear more intimate and close knit. CRD called to me because not only is it a society geared towards likeminded individuals on the same or similar track as me but, I am supplied with materials to succeed in my preferred career path. At the same time I am able to give back to my community and make friends while doing so. It is extremely encouraging and helpful to know and see others like you on the same journey."

"I decided to join CRD because I've always been an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and diffusion. As a minority student interested in becoming part of the medical field I thought it was important for me to find a group of people advocating for the same things and more! I also feel like being a part of CRD allows me to be surrounded by students with whom I can share a passion for medicine and who will motivate me to reach that goal!"
