We've seen health professionals utilizing social media more and more! Each week, we'll share a health professional you should all be following, whether they share educational materials, inspire pre-health students, or just have some awesome discount codes! 

Meet @paging_dr_eddie! He is a first year medical student at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Eddie posts on Instagram about his studying, interests in medicine, and other life events. He also has his own blog called www.behindthescrubs.com/. Follow him for cool OR cases, explanations about DO school, and how he studies for medical school.

Meet @earlcampbellmd! Earl is a University of Maryland School of Medicine Alum, who is currently a Gastroenterology fellow at Yale, in Connecticut. He posts a lot of gastroenterology info on his IG, where you can also find pictures of his adorable children, his wife who is a dentist, and his experience as a doc. 

This is @speakoutmedicine! Jamie is a OMS-1 who has been blogging and creating spoken word pieces on YouTube about our healthcare system, physician burnout, and more! On her IG, you'll see the ups and downs of medical school, pictures from her days as a college basketball player, and motivational words. She is very passionate about changing our current healthcare system and improving the lives of doctors to improve patient outcomes. Check out her YouTube here!

Meet Leslie! She runs an IG account called @medstudent.do! Leslie is a current osteopathic medical student living in Los Angeles, CA with her dog, Kylo. On her Instagram, you will see plenty of study tips, stories from patient encounters, OMT practice, and beauty tips. She often talks about her experience as a minority medical student and shared her experiences on her Youtube channel called MedStudent.DO
